I'm surprised there were as many women portrayed as working for Belfort since during that time Wall St was predominately a male profession. Most women were behind the scenes as secretaries not traders. Typical boiler room flick with good acting. The beginning is very funny with Matthew Mc. Not shown in the movie his role actually owned 25% of Jordan Belfort's business but bailed after 2 years. He eventually served jail time too.
Most surprising aspect was that Belfort only served 22 months in federal prison. Didn't Martha Stewart get more than that for insider trading? Belfort stole millions from many people to whom he hasn't paid back yet.
